Departing San Jose driving past the Basilica in Cartago, to Pacayas, La Pastora and on to the Turrialba Volcano; this is without a doubt the prettiest part of the Cental Valley. You should see many species of birds and other wildlife! During the green season this tour offers a lot of mud; it will cover areas with small rocks, steep climbs on the winch and crossing small rivers. Some 4-wheeling experience is required for this trip in the green season. You will enjoy the best views of the Turrialba Volcano and if you wish you can visit the Guayabo National Monument.
Duration: 12 hours. $350.00 per driver & $175.00 per passenger - 2 drivers minimum with guarantee of 3 hours behind the wheel for every driver.
